My hero is Terry Fox, I picked Terry Fox because he was helping people with cancer by raising money for research.Terry Fox was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to Rolly and Betty Fox.He moved to Morrill Street in Port Coquitlam. Terry Fox had an older brother Fred, and a younger brother Darrell, and his sister Judith. Terry Fox died because of cancer in his leg ( Which caused it to be amputated) the cancer spread to his lungs during his marathon. Terry Fox died in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Terry Foxes Name is Terrance Stanley fox. Terry Fox wanted to get one dollar for each of Canada’s 24 million people. He started in St. Johns, Newfoundland. He was running every day.

On Sunday I went out to Mt. Cain. I went to just look around but I ended up to going for a skiing lesson. I really enjoyed the skiing lesson and I wanted to keep skiing but it was time to go home. I hoped that we could go the day after but my mom and dad had to work. My brother went with me skiing and he liked it a lot too. He could do it better than me but he is more experienced with nortic skiing.My mom and dad enjoyed watching us ski. I wished that they could come along but they don’t know how to ski.

On Saturday my Grampa came to my house from SaltSpring. My Dad and Grampa went out on a logging road to hunt. On Sunday I went with my dad to his office to look for something but it wasn’t there. My dad had to meet someone in Port Alice so he drove there with me and we waited for the man. When the man came and they were talking My Grampa Took the rest of us to the fall fair. When we left the fall fair we went to the logging roads to do target practice. My mom and my dad did target practice as well as my brother and I.

What I did During Christmas Break

During Christmas break I stayed home and set up the tree for Christmas. We got the tree from our backyard. We had to cut off a little bit of the top and some of the bottom too. We got out all of the decorations and put them on the tree, we also got the stockings and Christmas hats. On Christmas Eve I looked on Santa tracker. I was excited to see what I got for Christmas. The day after New Years was my Birthday I was excited to see what I got for my birthday too.

My Favourite Activities

My favourite sport is soccer. I like football too. When I lived in Hope, B.C.,Canada, I played soccer in the fall and spring. I am going to play soccer in Port McNeill too. I don’t play in a real football league, I just play with my brother and my dad.

My hobbies are riding my bike and playing my guitar. I like riding my bike up and down the street that I live on. When I was learning to play my guitar we got Thomas to help me learn some new strumming patterns and some new chords. I am hoping to move to an electric guitar soon, but I need to get more experienced with my guitar that I have now.

My First Boat

On Saturday my dad came back from getting our new boat that we just purchased. We started to get ready on Sunday. We were going to go out onto the water. It was the first time that I had been out on my own boat. I was nervous because it was the first time that I launched a boat. The boat came very quickly and I fell on the dock. My dad said to just let go when that happens again.

When we were out we saw lots of whales and birds feeding on the little fish. Just before we had lunch we saw a big whale breach. When we finished our lunch we went to another place to see if there were any whales. We saw quite a few whales in the other place. When we thought that we should go home we went really fast. I thought that it was the best trip ever.

The next time that we went out on the boat we saw lots of dolphins jumping out of the water by our boat and whales making calling noises. I wanted to stay in that spot but I noticed a bunch of Steller Sea Lions on two rocks. I especially liked to see the dolphins; my mom took the picture in this post.

Tooth And Bone Reveiw

The story was about Gordon not putting his teeth under his pillow and saving his teeth. Gordon waited for an elderly woman to walk around the corner of the candy store and when they walked around the corner he would race around the corner with his bike and purposely crash and spit out a couple of his old teeth so that the woman would look and say that candy would make him feel better. the Narrator, Gordon and Paulo had to make a human skeleton made out of Popsicle sticks. The project was for school. The Narrator, Gordon and Paulo decided to do the project out of bones and Gordon’s old teeth for the project.

Uncle Ivan was a butcher so the narrator, Gordon and Paulo could take all the bones they need. They walked to the candy store with Gordon carrying the shopping bag with the bones and old teeth. Gordan was just about to pay for the candy when the bell rang. When the Narrator, Gordon and Paulo got in the classroom and Mrs. Haogsbrith said for everyone to get the project supplies Gordan’s hand went up. Gordon asked if he could go back to the store to get his supplies that he forgot. The teacher hesitated and then said to Gordon that he could go, but he had to try not to get seen by anyone.

In about half an hour Gordon still had not returned to the classroom. Mrs. Hoagsbrith sent the news that she said that Gordon could go get his project from the candy store and he had still not returned. Mr. Evans went to the store and when he got there he was surprised to see that the entrance was coned and there were lots of police cars. He was especially surprised to see Gordon sitting in the back of a police car. Mr. Evans went over to Gordon. One of the police officers asked Mr. Evans if he knows Gordon and Mr. Evans said that he taught Gordon all of the things that Gordon knows. The police man said he has another suspect and pushed Mr. Evans into the police car with Gordon. One of the other policeman said that he knows Mr. Evans and he’s the schools principal. The policeman let Mr. Evans out of the car.

Mr. Evans asked if he was allowed to talk to Gordon, and he was. Gordon explained to the police what had happened. The police said that the real killer was at the school. The police rushed off to put Mrs. Haogsbrith in hand cuffs.

My Opinion Of The Story

I think it was an excellent story because I like it when Gordon makes plans to get other people in trouble and causes a big commotion. I also liked when the police were investigating because of the bones. I liked the idea of using the bones
